Dear friend, I find the chapter you sent to be somewhat confused. At the beginning Mr. Kennedy says, “… exclusiveness of Israel continues throughout the New Testament, because this cuts across the traditional doctrine that Israel is now ‘The Church’ and that this Church is multi-racial.

The Bible is very clear on this topic: For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Gal. 3:26-29).

The Israel spoken of in the NT is generally the church. The text above says clearly that those “in Christ,” those who have accepted Him, no matter what race or station in life, are Abraham’s seed. It says that there is no such thing as a distinctive Jew.

-----
Acts 1:6 Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? Jesus’ answer was “… It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed…” The disciples hoped that He would set up His kingdom on earth replace the Roman Empire. We see this in Matt. 20:21 and Luke 22:24. Jesus plainly told Pilate that His kingdom was “not of this world” and that the Jews as a nation were His enemies. Any new kingdom would not be composed exclusively of ethnic Jews. (John 18:36).

Kennedy quotes and responds: Acts 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words,
Acts 3:12,13 Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this??the God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers” Can we pretend these men of Israel were from other racial stock”? Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know …This is specifically limited to Israelites.

I disagree. See Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Those “afar off” in the text include “as many as the Lord our God shall call.” This would include Paul who was zealous in supporting the Jews in persecuting the followers of Christ until the Lord spoke to Him on the way to Damascus. Paul was also a prophet (Acts. 18:9) and to go to Macedonia (Acts 16:9, 10).

Remember that the disciples were sent first to their own people, the Jews, the Jews, after Jesus died. After that they were to go to Jerusalem, to Judea, to Samaria, and to the most remote parts of the earth. (Acts. 1:

The book of Hebrews was so named because it was addressed to Jewish Christians who were in danger of turning back to their old system of man-made ceremonies. Heb. 10:35-38. The book argues that Christ was better than angels (Chapters 1, 2), that His priesthood was better, that the promised were better. That Christ was now the High Priest in heaven (8:1) that sacrifices better than those practiced in the OT were needed to cleanse (10:23).

I’ll comment on “Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” (Matt. 6:9, 10). Dan. 7:24-27 agrees that after the evil horn power is destroyed that the kingdom under the whole heaven will be given to the saints (holy ones) or people of the saints. This will be on earth after the thousand years. We see this in Rev. 21 where the New Jerusalem comes down to a new earth with the bride of Christ (His people). They are in the holy city that descends. The wicked surround the “camp of the saints.” which is the city after it has come down. Fire comes down and devours them (Rev. 20:9, 10).

The Lord comes in glory and takes the righteous to heaven (John 14:1-3; Rev. 1:7; 1 Thess. 4:16, 17) where they live and reign with him for a thousand years (Rev. 20:4) They reign as judges. This takes more study.
