| 5 Behold even to the moon,
and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.
6 How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm? |
Moon
shineth not Bildad apparently understood that it reflected the
light of the sun. He didn't know so much about the stars although, in a
sense, he was right. The stars were created and are controlled by God.

Man ... worm It's true that we stand in awe before God ps00803, but man, not worms or monkeys, is able to communicate with God through Jesus Christ. God spoke and the animals were created but He formed man with His own hands and breathed His own breath into him ge0207. The promise of a redeemer was to Eve for us all ge0316. |
